Home of 12 Volt has been operating since 2000, prior to that as Blue Apple Electronics a manufacturer of Portable Power Packs known as Thumper, Outback and Urban since 1993 .
These Power Packs, still very popular with Home of 12 Volt customers, have the Highest Cranking Power and fastest recharging time of any Power Pack on the market today. The Thumper, Outback and Urban powerpacks are completely Australia made and owned. With over 10 years on the market and over 90,000 units sold Australia wide, these units have really proven to last the test of time!
Initially the ‘brainchild’ of one man, these Power Packs have become so popular that Home of 12 Volt has had to offer its services to a variety of Caravan, Camping, 4WD and Boating stores around Australia just to ensure easy access for its growing customer base. Recently the world wide known and respected 'ARB' outlets throughout Australia have also begun distributing the high cranking range as a part of their main product range.
